I know a lot of people prefer working with a larger history to suit their purposes. I'm trying to narrow the time frame down to the bias that might show up today as opposed to what has shown up in the past. I'm a lazy person and this is an easy way to pick your numbers without two pads of paper, 2 #2 pencils and a reliable pencil sharpener.
