I hate to be the one to say it folks, but if your playing lotto and money is all you have or want your existance is sad alone. Death may not be a great thing but for a believer is not the end, merely a new start. I already know what your gooing to say, not like I haven't heard it before but everyone has free will, no one wants to be poor. Yes, I play, win or lose there is something better than lotto.

yeah when you win big amounts it gets a lil scary because your adrenalin starts going crazy and it tends to make your chest beat a lil fast...i don't know how i'd react if i won a powerball jackpot but i do know that there would be a small chance of me needing to sit down and take it easy and i'm only 30 but i do get excited over things like that....

Yea it's sad when that happens. My wife said for me not to watch the drawings by myself in case somthing like that might happen to me. I told her i think i'd call 911 if i win 20 grand or more. And ask em to bring me bottle of O2 LOL

wow.four4me i had a similar experience only i didn't have a heart attack,i was excited though,when the tennessee lottery started back in march i played 486 for ten dollars every day and after 4 months it hit....

A guy i worked with played 789 every day for 20 dollars straight over a year went by. One night while his family was in the kitchen eating. The old man was in the living room in front of the tv eating he didn't want to miss the drawing. His family found him holding the tickets in his hand fan style. he had a massive heart attack. Wow...makes me wonder what kind of fears I would get if I won the big one...fear of flying, would be up in the top five....but then I think of all the sports teams that fly, without so much as a scratch ,,,oh well untill that time, somebody give me an airline ticket....

This is also my biggest fear. My ship finally comes in and it sinks. Didn't Alanis Morissette write a song about this???? I do feel terrible for this woman.

well I'll be.........She had the check in her purse! didn't even make it to the bank. That is my biggest fear. To finally win and die on the way to the bank before you even get to spend any of it.

An Oregon woman was killed in a Salem car crash last week after winning the lottery just a few days earlier.Shirley Randall, 59, of Gladstone, had turned in a winning Keno ticket at the Oregon Lottery office Nov. 22, the day she died.
