The Cash Option is HUGE.....but when the annuity gets to this level.....4 million a year....one can only be 4 million stupid ...then you have 29 more chances to get it right......annuity looks better at high levels....Buy a million in property each year......you will be very well off in 20 or so years

The reason why almost all winners take the cash option is because with sound financial planning, you can earn way more than the approx. 3% return the annuity has on the cash value. I would take the cash option any day.Some peole will argue that taking the annuity option would be best for people who cant control their spending. But experiences of past winners suggests that just because they take the annuity option doesnt mean they are going to spend less.

I dont know......but if it ever does happen it will be talked about cause the winner will be 1st person to do it in a few years....If I win thats the route that I would take. . . . annutity
