They should have looked into this earlier. It is very difficult to get money for school for older students, yet if they were to actually do a physical count of older students they might find that older students are on the rise. This is a population that has been almost ignored by the powers that be . It seems fair to me that older students should have a chance to get scholarship money just like the younger ones. Students who don't take the traditional route to college also should be eligible for help from the lottery-funded scholarship program, Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen said.Bredesen said it is common for a student to take a year or two off from college before returning and finishing.
