Ya wot a dimbulb store clerk! I live in that very town. Usually they run your scratch card thru the machine and wait for the printout to see how much you won... I can't believe someone took his word for it and just handed him tickets... Illinois cards have mostly terrible overall odds too... A Schaumburg, Illinois man is accused of stealing hundreds of lottery tickets around Chicago's northwest suburbs over the past two weeks.Police say 35-year-old Anthony Lazzaro told them he took the tickets because he was trying to get Christmas money for his daughter.
