We had planned to have a party at the end of the year and split the winning up between all of the participants, but, the person who held the money had spent most of it on medications that she needed and couldn&#x27;t pay us back. She didn&#x27;t even show up at the party, which is understandable. We all forgave her. But money does strange things to people that you love and trust.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I used to do pool, but it was very informal.  It was only when the jackpot got over a certain amount.  Nothing ever happened, but something sure could have.  The number of people in the pool would change from drawing to drawing.  I can see from this story, that is a really stupid way to go.  I remember reading on this site somewhere about a group of guys from Florida who had something like that happen, and the case is STILL not settled.
