That's why you never buy tickets from a friend and buy them yourself from a authorized lottery retailer.

Police hit the jackpot in the River Market robbery, nabbing a gambler who tried to redeem stolen lottery tickets -- at the River Market.Apparently, the thieves who stole about 500 lottery tickets failed to inform buyers of the hot scratch rub-off instant games to not cash them in at Market Street's River Market on the Somerset County side of Pocomoke City.
