I agree with you Moehrked! However let me warn you and all other lottery suporters not to be taken in like we were here in Michigan back in 1972. Michigan said all moneys would go to education too. They failed to tell us about their dirty shell game. What they did was reduce educations spending by $1.00 for every dollar the lottery put into education. I want to play the lottery here. Idon't care where the money goes. I enjoy playing thr Siuth Carolina Lotto. I AM NOT POOR. I am middle class, with an income above $70,000.00. I like to play. I play about $16.00 per week. I don't like other lotto plays I just like Power Ball. I want the choice to play in NC. A group of high-profile lottery opponents vowed Wednesday to fight efforts to bring scratch-off tickets and numbers games to North Carolina.As opponents gathered in the Legislative Building in Raleigh to voice opposition, members of a special House committee on the lottery filed the bill that they will use to craft a state lottery.The work on that bill, which does not yet include details of how a lottery would be set up, is set to be finished by April 11.The opponents said they were working one
