It isn't a question of wether or not he cashed the ticket in, the question is was he the rightful owner or did he steal it through fraud from the rightful owner

I also believe he is guilty. Put him in jail!But just imagine what if he was inocent. Then after the trial, he will end up with no money left anyway, after paying the lawyer fee. Goosh, I hate this legal system that drain people's money and give advantage to people who has more money.

I highlite the winning numbers on my tickets before taking them in to be cashed, that way if the terminal doesn't agree with my expectations, I can recheck the posted winners for that drawing.RJOh

It's foolish for him to think people will believe a not guilty plea. Obviously, when the police called the lottery to ask if he (or someone he knows) cashed the winning $46,000 ticket and were told that he certainly did, that answers the guilty question right there

A North Andover, Massachusetts convenience store clerk pleaded innocent Wednesday to cashing in a customer s winning lottery ticket. Prosecutors say Patrick Simboli told customer Elizabeth Geladeres of Raymond, N.H., that she d won $2 on a Cash Winfall ticket purchased at his store May 9. In fact, the ticket was worth $32,000, after taxes.Police say he kept the ticket and claimed the prize.
