Morning gemini:Might be worthwhile to say something of that sort to your elected representatives. When New Mexico legislators were posturing and strutting their opinions about passing the lottery, running them up on the flagpole to see if anyone saluted, one of the key issues was a small double-town down on the Texas boundary, Texico and Farwell. I live in north carolina and i've been hoping that n.c. would hurry up and get the lottery. I get tired of going up to va. every week to play the lottery. Even though I gets some winnings it would be nice to know that my money is going to the state I live in to help it out and not somr other state that I or my family do not benifit from.

The winners and losers of the lottery depend on who is playing the game. Borg points to countless studies that show those who most often play the lottery tend to be poor and undereducated.That certainly describes me. But the kids of the poor, under educated are supposed to be the ones benefiting from having lotteries. Good News to North Carolinians on their closer walk to the lottery in their state. Anyone who wants to play the games will play them regardless; even if they have to travel to other states.

I wish NC luck in passing a lottery this year! I hope they consider also joining a multistate game. I'd prefer MegaMillions although it's been said MMs does not want to expand anymore.
