I moved to NH from MA this year. I've started playing NH's games (such as Hot Lotto) even though they don't impress me as much as the Mass. games. Heads or Tails was their version of Mass Cash, but only paid $50k instead of $100k -- Then it got cancelled recently (I wonder why)! I agree about the Hot Lotto jackpots, but I decided that if I won and ended up with about $500k, at least I could buy my dream house with it. Something else that is peculiar about the NH games -- They have 3 game draw... [ More ]

Don't ya love the phrase before taxes - 25% for the feds up front. 6.5% for the state up front. (Maybe the city will get some, maybe the county will get some.) Then comes the end of the year and the tax man starts all over again with income taxes. I gotta wonder how much is left on April 16th of next year

Doesn't make me want to play. $500,000 (cash after taxes) is not worth those odds. I'll stick with the Match 6 here in PA.
