I watched the newscast. No one asked if it was a Quick Pick, and they didn't say.I got the impression, the New York CBS news team wasn't too sure what the lottery was. Some kinda money winning thing. The concept of a Quick Pick was way over their head. The male member of the team had no idea of the type of place the winner bought the ticket. He thought it was a bar. They only showed a few mnutes. The NJ Lottery guy started into how great they are and the news cut out. Never stuck around to meet the winners. CBS stated they would be on the noon broadcast - which could be any time within 12:00 to 12:30. I'm sure the reruns will be every where tonight.

Hmm, What if it's some graduate college kid that bought a magazine and a quick pic? Wow, being in the 20's or 30's (age) with all that money. (ok, ok, so I'm a bit envious ... I still wish him/her well.) Hope who ever wins uses it wisely and don't blow it a few years. It's not only going the change that person's life but it's going be a generational change as well. I'm inclinded to think it will be a group. They keep saying winner but never say he or she in their news releases. Then again, they haven't used the plural winners either. Guess I'll set my internet to one of the NYC stations and see what happens.

It'll be interesting to find out tomorrow how many tickets the winner purchased and what kind? Since it was a newsstand probably were quick-picks ... I'll guess a group of school employees chipped in five bucks each.
