SC doesn't need to lose any more sales. It is prohibited from selling tickets on days when elections are held.

Hey Ya'll I'm a Tarheel from the camel city. I'm having a problem deciphering the letters LOL. Does this stand for lots of luck or lot of loosers? Being a neighbor to S.C. with family and friends there, I'm very familiar with S.C. especially on the coast line. The home folk are't loosers, I can't speak for the Establishment / the controling part of the lottery. they are babbies just starting out a few years ago ! I hope they grow up fast.

SC already loses days because it's NOT allowed to sell tickets when an election is held. AFAIK it's the only state to have such a prohibition.

South Carolina Lottery officials suspended sales of the Pick 3 and Pick 4 games Thursday after there was a problem upgrading software.It was not clear when sales or cashing in of winning tickets would resume, South Carolina Education Lottery spokeswoman Tara Robertson said. It's an accounting issue on both parts, in cashing in and on what the retailer owes the lottery on their invoice, she said.
