AND that horse makes the state money! Mr. Ed was a happy horse and so is the state capital! Let a few win, publicize it enough, and every idiot thinks a lot of people won. No need to change it! If they make money for the Lottery Directors, and they do, then computer drawings are great! Basic Business 101. You only need to change your model when the profits decrease! So far, no need! It is about the money and ONLY the money. It hasn't been about fairness since 1778

Why would California consider switching to a ball drawing? That would be the ultimate in stupidity! They are cleaning up with the computer! Why change horses when you are riding a winner!!! Because they are interested in the players? Because they care about someones opinion? Heheheheheheheh!!!! It is all about the money, nothing else. Only the money!! Money, money, money, money! Not for fun, not for enjoyment, not for improvement of mankind. M-O-N-E-Y! When they loose money on computer

I agree with you CASH Only on CA SLP being ball drawn. I wished that CA eliminated all of the computerized drawings on the rest of their lotto games. Eliminating computerized drawings makes sales better and each of the games would be more fair.

Yeah how about an el Gordo national type game for the united states that will benefit worthwhile causes like katrina, and homelessness, while paying back 70% to the players. Do it twice a year. On fourth of July and New Years Eve. $100 bucks a ticket, Billion in sales, 700 million paid back to players, 300 million to go to good causes and administrative. 10 million tickets sold overall.

So good for them especially since the MM had such a tumultous start. I always thought that their sales would increase with a game like MM because there are so many people in the state who wanted to support a game like MM. Now we need a USA Lottery of all fifty states! Many all over the US had family and friends deavasted by Katrina. We need a national lottery funded for natural disasters, I think.

I'm happy that CA's sales have gone up this year. I hope that CA keeps Mega Millions after the hearing is scheduled around March. Otherwise, their sales will start to fall again.
