Looking at the packet on the lottery website to select a television station for the live drawings (it's on the main page under news), the NCEL stated that it planned to start an online game in the fall, with another one or two next spring, and that the station that gets the contract should expect to have twice-daily drawings, although that is not set in stone yet (I would assume that it will be pick 3, followed by pick 4 and cash 5 games in that order, though the packet does not say).

Ohhhhhh.... they're getting the scratch-off tickets???? Wonderful!!!! Now I have a good reason to take the 20-hour trip! Getting bored with the same old nj Crosswords, Flowering 50's, etc.

To pamelab,they may have been vague in the past but when the lottery clearly states that scratch offs will start March 30 and Powerball May 30,with other games like pick 3 or 4 in the fall,I think those questions have been ANSWERED.

To NCPicks, maybe because our state of nc have been so messy in this lottery, that it warrants the repeated question of Lottomike. Face it our state have'nt been clear on what games in particular and when exactly the games will take place. I had read previously that scratch tickets will began this month, and late this summer Powerball, with all other lottery games in between. Statements like that are so vague, it may be helpful to keep asking the same question over and over.

Scratch-off tickets in the North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL) will go on sale in 15 days, and retailers around the state are getting ready for the games to begin.

Chip King of Neb King Inc. in Person County plans to sell lottery tickets at his convenience stores. But King said he was about a week behind other stores as far as getting geared up to offer lottery tickets to customers however, since there was a small glitch in the massive application process, for his five stores.
