I bought my MM ticket this morning for the win Alex! Yep, will still be travelling to VA for my MM tickets. It's a good drive to clear out your head and think about what I am going to be doing with my new found wealth.

IIRC nobody won $2 million. It won't happen unless the 10x is brought back.

KY, I hear what you are saying, but at the same time, I bet the people that selected powerplay when the 10x came out a couple of weeks ago are glad they did. If I remember correctly, there were a couple of winners that turned 200,000 into 2 million.

From what I've seen it looks like only about 20% of players choose the power play option, so I'm not sure that qualifies as popularity. It obviously doesn't cause much excitement for the 80% who don't bother with it. I htink that makes the proper question do the other states see it as a money maker ?

I figure that some of the people who choose power play buy the same number of tickets they'd buy if power play wasn't an option, so those people spend twice as much on tickets. Other people spen... [ More ]

The Texas Megaplier was 4.

Maybe one day the megaplier will be available to us all, not just Texas.

Can't these MM States see the popularity and excitement of the multiplier in the Powerball States

The jackpot in the multi-state Mega Millions lottery game has climbed again past the $100 million mark.

None of the tickets sold for Tuesday's drawing matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball. The jackpot is now at $117 million and the next drawing will be Friday night.

There were four second-prize winners from Tuesday's drawing: 1 from California, 1 from New Jersey, and 2 from New York. Each ticket matched all five lotto numbers but not the Mega Ball number to win $250,000.... [ More ]
