That, and also those who live in two states, are reasons why Florida should start the 60-day clock with the claim, rather than the Lotto/Mega Money drawing. (Both games have annuity jackpots.

They also should change their cash option policy to 60 days from the time the ticket is claimed instead of the drawing date. I'm not sure about all of their games, but I know that they have that rule for MegaMillions. It's like the FL lottery...they should give people more time or let them choose the cash option at time of purchase.

Massachusetts State Representative Daniel E. Bosley (D-North Adams) today announced that the upcoming House Ways Means budget will lift the cap on Lottery aid and send the highest levels of local aid to cities and towns in the Commonwealth's history.

The proposed total spending represents $920 million, an increase of $158 million over the current fiscal year expenditure and $260 million over Fiscal Year 2005.
