A single mother from Le Roy, New York, has won a fortune.

41-year-old Sandy O'Neill won $1 million from the New York Lottery scratch off game, Red Hot Million.

O'Neill says the ticket caught her eye while she was shopping at tops supermarket on west main street in the village. She bought that ticket and one other from change left over from buying groceries.
