NC better not even consider joining Lose for Life. A much better fit would be MUSL Hot Lotto, even with computerized drawings.

Does anyone know what other games NC will offer besides Powerball? Will there, for instance, be a Pick 3, Pick 4, and a Lucky 5 type of game offered? Will NC be a part of Win for Life?

They should be happy with what they got. I mean for goodness sake, there are only 4 freakin scratch off tickets. (so boring) I haven't bought any tickets since the first day. I am waiting for powerball.

I also find it very weird that charlotte has the most lottery ticket vendors but there has not been a big money winner in charlotte. What is up with that. I am up for suggestions.

Receipts for 1st 5 days barely miss director's goal of $25 million

A thunderstorm Monday might have stymied the N.C. Education Lottery leader's personal goal of selling $25 million worth of tickets in the games' first five days.

I'm looking for any excuse, joked lottery director Tom Shaheen on Tuesday. The only one I can come up with is all that rain we got.
