Sales under him were great. Now we have computer drawn games with jackpots that move as fast as a slug on a salt bed. The lottery started in 84 and some of the early jackpots had terrific sales but back then a $10+ million jackpot was a big deal.

He must have done a VERY good job explaining Quinto; no US lottery has come anywhere close to WA with such a game. Quinto is a pick-5 that uses playing cards instead of numbers.

In his 13 years as spokesman for Washington's state lottery, Richard Paulson met a lot of newly minted millionaires.
