			<description><![CDATA[<p>The Kentucky Lottery Corp. earned net income of $56.2 million on a record $198.5 million in sales during its third quarter of fiscal 2006.<br /><br />Sales were driven by a record-breaking $365 million Powerball jackpot in February, according to a news release.<br /><br />The previous record sales quarter was the second quarter of 2004, when net income was $52.6 million on sales of $197 million.<br /><br />Year-to-date net income is $158.7 million, or $37.9 million more than the same period last year.
