I would think that yes expenses will increase some but monies comming into the lottery will greatly increase due to the interest in Powerball. Many, like me,have been waiting for this game to begin before we play often. If the jackpot can climb towards $100 million the game will really get attention in this state.

One week to go.NC is part of a challenge to SG's trademark of the PowerPlay option. They have refused to pay SG for the right to use a multiplier in the Powerball game.G-tech,who supplies NC with its gaming needs, has stated that they will cover any cost arising from lawsuits over the trademark. It could get very interesting, very soon.

I am anxious for NC to start up Powerball at the end of this month. Just imagine, going to the corner store to buy Powerball tickets. I will be equally excited when pick 3 and 4 arrives.
