Ladyluck2005, I was in your fair city today, but passed it by for some powerball tickets at my favorite spot in Rock Hill, SC.

We'll see how good they are in a couple of hours.....

I agree that he needed to check his ticket better, but that would be a great surprise to find out you won 12 million instead of $12,000.

I always check my tickets, I look on the computer and I get a print out from the store of the numbers called.

When I check my tickets, I seem to transpose the numbers as well.

It's just the other way, not the way he did.

My $12,000.000 would in reality be $12.00.

People, People, People, how many times does this happen. If you are willing to take a chance at winning the lottery, be smart enough to check your own ticket. Don't leave the responsibility up to the local clerk, I don't care if you have bought your tickets there for the past 10 years....always, always, always check your own ticket. Don't be lazy

On Tuesday, Ken Garbe was told he had won $12,000 in the Lotto Super 7. Without his glasses, Garbe couldn't see the numbers himself, so he believed the lottery retailer at Park Royal Mall who checked his ticket.

It turns out the retailer missed a few digits.

Garbe's total winnings from the June 2 draw were $12,399,976 the biggest jackpot so far this year, said Tamara Ibbott, spokeswoman for B.C. Lottery Corp.
