I would of made a week end of it I used to take a 4 hour drive to Hilton Head SC 1/2 the reason was powerball the other was a road trip the longest was years ago 6 hour drive to Fla for a big lotto

Hi Kidzmom,

I went to Oregon to buy ticket; as you see Wisconsin won. Fortunately, I still have 3 more plays.

I know somebody would say it is just a waste of time and money. But at least, I was bold enough to drive there, Ashland city - a little beautiful town that hosts Shakespeare Festival. I think that I just stay with Superlotto Plus and Mega Millions. Thanks to you, I have a special feeling about lottery jackpot.

Oregon limits the multi-draw to two weeks for powerball, megabucks and lucky lines. Those are the games I like to play.-weshar75

The Louisiana Lottery allows players to play several drawings ahead as well. My pool at work buys tickets for 4 drawings every payday.

man o man thats a long drive to just get some tickets...........not to mention the drive back home thats a total of 12hrs. Then if you figure in the time that you spend in the store and getting gas and getting something to eat......thats really gonna turn out to be about a 13.5hr trip. Do you know anyone that you can trust that lives in a powerball state that can buy the tickets and mail them to you

I just discovered a great thing with powerball and MM, on the bet slips you can play several drawings ahead. Saving me a couple trips to PA, in case it rolls over.

It does seem to me that driving 6 housr for a powerball ticket, is just plain silly. Go to betslips.com and place your order there. They charge $2.00 for a $1.00 ticket, but even at that, its cheaper than paying for gas at $3.00+ per gallon on a six hour trip, at 19MPG sounds like about $50.00 round trip, not including the cost of the lottery. My math says, play on betslips, save yourself some time not driving for six hours, and remember you got this information from me when you win.

Well looks like my powerball jackpot will be coming home to Eugene, Oregon this saturday. Stop and Shop on W 18th ave is the place they will announce on sunday that has sold the winning ticket and of course I will be the winner. But Since I am a jerk I will refuse the press conference and I will not give my permission to be a poster child like some lottery winners have.
