This is so typical of all polititions, when they know they can't get enough votes outright they attach it somewhere else and hope it goes through. I just could'nt trust anyone who does things so shady. I really hope they don't attach this and Frist and the others stand up and be counted...

the thing to watch out for is that senator frist is looking for any thing he can attach this to so it will pass.since he can't get this on the defense bill he will be looking for a new target to place it with.very touch and go right now......

A dispute among Republican leaders may delay the fate of a proposed Internet gambling ban until after the Nov. 7 elections, congressional and lobbying sources said Tuesday.

Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., and House Speaker Dennis Hastert, R-Ill., are pushing hard to include an online wagering ban and a slew of other bills in defense legislation.
