I'm still waiting on those six people at the meat packing plant in Minnesota to get sued. So far no word. Perhaps they missed the bullet. Sure hope so.

I guess I was a little off on my math. When you have $47,050,000 annuity and you divide it by 9 you get roughly $5,227,778 annuity a piece for 9 winners. Or at 47.5% cash value you have a cash check of about $2,483,195 if the 9 winners take cash. Both figures are before taxes. My point is that if there had been a single winner their would have been a bigger single prize. You have a nice day now okay!!!!!!!!!!!-weshar75

You must have a dark cloud hanging over you to make a statement like They are not swimming in the loot if you know what I mean.

Would you be moping over the fact that you weren't filthy rich to the tune of tens of millions if you only won a measly 2 million ?

Myself and thousands of others would consider 2 million to be life changing. But not you I guess.

Your math is a little off too. The lump sum cash payout is about 3.7 million, after taxes.

There shares are $5 million annuity and about a little over $2 million if they choose cash. They are not swimming in the loot if you know what I mean.-weshar75

No mention at all of a 'quick-pick', so it must have been hand-picked numbers.

As far as showing up too soon, they can do that to claim ownership of their share, but they don't necessarily have to pick up the

actual money until they have representation.

Yet another winner(s) that ran into the lottery office literally before the ink was dry on the ticket-- Obviously without financial advice, planning or legal representation.

I hope they don't fall victim to excessive taxes but it looks like they didn't think about that. They got caught up in the moment and didn't plan accordingly..

Cheers and shouts filled the lobby of the Arizona Lottery Thursday morning as the terminal rang out We are in the Money, signaling the validation of the winning Powerball jackpot.

That's when we knew it was really real, said Tanya Poirier, one of the Arizona 9, a group of seven co-workers and two spouses who shared one-half of a $94.1 million Powerball jackpot for the Wednesday, Nov. 1, drawing. Their half of the jackpot came to $47,050,000.
