From the tone of the article it sounds like the Justice Department doesn't intend to seriously prosecute anyone. Former Senator Frist has screwed up on this one. He tried to clamp down on a certain lobbyist and only ended up ramming through a half-baked law that has assured he will never be president. Good work, Bill!

Because the banks call the shots. The banks and big businesses control our government on issues that affect them. That's the reason the Saving Loans were beaten down to move it in that direction. At least that's when I first noticed. You were very young when that happened. And Walmart practically funded Bush's political campaign. That's the main reason our borders aren't secure.

how are U.S. banks going to be free to do business with them when the law states that it is illegal to do so

Need passage of tougher bills to clamp down on this gambling.

With a new majority in the house and senate we may see tougher legislation.
