thats a tough call. the drawing takes place at exactly the same time as there last segment is running the show usually goes all the way up to exactly 7:58 Pm The bonus match 5 drawing takes place at exactly 7:55 and the pick 3/4 draws follow it after a breif comercial.

The baltimorons will not like the lottery cutting into their show time.

four4me...what they will do is show the drawing during a commercial break. They won't interupt regular programing.

it's gonna be a tough call because the wheel of fortune is one during that time slot and they will be drawing the numbers during the last segment. people who watch the wheel of fortune will probably flip out if they cant see the ending of their show as they once did.

i hope they figure a way to pull it off without upseting half they viewing arena.

Well, I hope WBAL does a better job with the Maryland drawings than their Hearst-Argyle sister station WCVB does with the Mass. drawings.

I hope Maryland increases their lotto sales when it's home to a new network next month.

The Maryland Lottery drawings will have a new home next month.

The state Board of Public Works today is expected to award WBAL TV a four year, $10 million broadcasting contract to televise the drawings. The Maryland Lottery has been on WJZ TV for the last 12 years.

WBAL TV will get about $2.5 million a year to show the drawings, up from the $1.4 million the state currently pays.
