I think it's cruel and unusual punishment unless maybe he's sent to a place like where they sent Martha Stewart. He didn't mention that he had financial ties to whatever with the Lottery, BIG DEAL!! The Lotteries possibly being fixed under such circumstances is still unlikely and the amount they take out is bad enough as it is and that is a worse Crime .

This is not surprising considering that the Lottery is STEALING money from NC players in the form of lower payouts. I'm sure there will be more arrests where this came from. I never thought I'd say I was happy to now be a South Carolinian.

Former lottery commissioner Kevin Geddings was sentenced to four years in prison today on charges that he hid his financial ties to a company expected to bid for the state's lottery business.

US District Court Judge James Dever the Third imposed a prison term seven months longer than the maximum sentence recommended by court officials. They suggested that Geddings receive up to almost three and a half years in prison.
