Finally, some people (mostly the anti-lottery constituents) and the radical, know-it-all, flesh-eating evangelicals) would have us believe that when we win a Lottery windfall -- we're getting something for nothing. No way! We have to spend our hard earned dollars to play; no Lottery vendor just gives away free Lottery tickets because they like you.

All the aide needed was a $1.00 and a dream. You see, as one person so eloquently mentioned....greed! It appears that people want to win (that's not the issue) -- but they are too impatient to wait. They have this... I want it now attitude -- I can't wait until tomorrow!

A nurse's aide faces a larceny charge after she allegedly stole a winning $3,125 lottery ticket from an elderly town woman who cares for physically and mentally handicapped children in her home.

Monica Blackwell-Simms, 38, of Newfield Avenue, Bridgeport, is charged with third-degree larceny following her arrest Wednesday by state authorities.
