Wholy crap! $50 from 13 people? I have tried many times in the offices I work at to get pools going and if you have to put in more than $1 no one wants to play.

It's probably better that we rarely know how the people in line before or after us fared.

Looks like this group will get about $33,000 each after about 25%~28% taken out. Not bad.

i was watching all of those episodes justx and people chose the million dollar case but they were too scared to keep passing on offers until the end so they missed out. they never kept going until someone won now its only on once a week and its back to only one million dollar case on the board. tn lottery now has a scratch off game where you get a second chance drawing to win a trip to play on tv for deal or no deal but im sure many states have that game just like the world series of poker had s... Yup! Everyone keeps saying that it only takes one which is true. But 50 gives you 49 more chances. It's all about odds chance, although 100 out of 146 million isn't great, just better. You can purchase 10,000 tickets and win nothing and the newbie in back of you who found 4 quarters in his pocket and decided to buy a ticket for the first time in his life might get lucky.

13 seems to be a lucky pool size for playing PowerBall, last year the 13 Missouri workers won a $224M jackpot and some years back a group of 13 factory workers from Ohio won a $260M PB jackpot in Indiana or it could be the $50+ worth of tickets per drawing.

In Tennessee, a pool of 13 lottery players claimed Saturday's $600,000 Powerball prize.

The $600,000 Powerball ticket was sold in Hendersonville. The winning ticket matched the first five Powerball numbers drawn Saturday evening, but did not match the Powerball number.
