If you&#x27;ve raised children who can&#x27;t hold a job, are drunks or druggies, or have some other significant inability to function giving them a free ride isn&#x27;t likely to make them a better person, though I think there&#x27;d often be a pretty good argument that you had played the major role in how they turned out.
