Pumpi, both times quick picks were used, so it's just random luck. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Seriously, I'd rather just win 1 big jackpot than 10 small ones. This woman is lucky, and I'd be happy with the first one she shared, getting $588,000. But there's no big conspiracy.. randomness means some people will never win if they play for 50 years and others will win 3 or 4 times.

There have been multiple winners lately...I wander why? Not many people can hit cash twice on the small period, knowing that there are years and decades to see Powerball play..

She bought a Quick Pick, so it's obviously luck. It doesn't say how many tickets a week she purchases, although it only takes one!

I am very happy for her, but it's also frustrating when you've played for 30 years and haven't even won $100.

Athena Rush of Watertown, South Dakota, claimed the $200,000 Powerball prize she won in the drawing of November 10th.

Rush matched the five white balls, but not the red Powerball to win the game's second prize.

Rush missed the jackpot by one number, but said the excitement isn't any different than winning the jackpot. She would know. Rush was a member of The Watertown 34, the group of Minnesota Rubber workers that won a $50.9 million Powerball prize nearly five years ago.
