My group at work has been trying this for a year and a half and yet to do better than a match 3 or match 2 and the powerball. They are real lucky.

Oh my pool members would be very happy with a $6000 prize. Not that many of them would really need it, but just winning would be something to remember for a long time.

Beginners luck, no one told them they couldn't win so they believed they could and it happened. Congratulations to them, hope they get to repeat it many times over

Talk about instant gratification the first time the 23 people on the night shift at the Sherwin-Williams plant in Andover, Kansas, decided to pool money and buy Powerball tickets, the first ticket they bought proved to be a winner.

A $200,000 winner, which means it matched the first five numbers drawn Jan. 5 but not the Powerball.
