I know it was the first time I have seen people lined up to get tickets where I live in a long time. I dread getting the tickets for tonight's game. The lines are going to be astronomical.

HELLO NEIGHBOR, ALL OF US GET TAXED atlast twice..your taxed when you get payed and then taxed as you send your money..if you have verizon land line phone your taxes four different times on your verizon bill...middle class always has the tax of USA on there backs...the war in iraq is costing 12 billion dollars a month..and we get to pay the bill on it..and what did we get for sending our young man and women over there......higher gas prices and oil to heat your house ...

I know all of that is bad! The government really seems to be against family and friendship. I mean, we're supposed to be free....right? And yet we cannot do as we please with our own money, we have to pay taxes on property we own, then the gov. wonders why people cheat on their taxes. It's all a bunch of crap. My math is giving me $69,300,000 after taxes in the state of PA. I'm obviously against a federal and state tax when it comes to lottery prizes. It's like getting taxed twice imo. And don't think about dying early either or your estate will be taxed again lol. The governments the only real winner here and we are just the suckers. My friends in England play the UK Nat Lottery and the Euro Millions games. Both Cash advertised games, and to make it even worse... TAX-FREE winnings. And let's not even talk about the exchange rate.

But like you Whitman, I'll be OK with winning too, big time.

Who plays power play, thats just saying that you will accept anything that comes your way even if its small in size, you should only play for the jacpot, that way you keep the thrill and the excitement.

I'm still waiting for record numbers lol, I'm probably goin to be the sole winner since nobody has won yet, so I don't know what I'm goin to do.

$230 million sounds like a lot of money...and it is, but I just wished you actually got that money! After all is said and done I'd get $79 million. Don't get me wrong I am going to be so happy with that money, it's just a BIG difference from what they are advertising. (and I understand its the cash value but even then it's a 34 million dollar difference!)

But it's cool....I'll be ok with it. :)

The jackpot in America's Game continues to grow, as do the lines at the lottery ticket counters.

Because no one correctly matched all six numbers in Saturday's Powerball drawing the jackpot grew to an estimated $230 million, with a cash option of $113.6 Million.

Even though the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, 3 lucky tickets in New Mexico (1) and South Carolina (2) matched all 5 white numbers with the Power Play and won $400,000 cash each.
