A couple of days ago my mom and I got in a slight argument and laterI apologized because I had been wrong and then she had opened up herfortune cookie from her Chinese dinner and it said someone will make asincere apology to you. We both thought it was kind of funny.

I remember a few years ago a bunch of people around the country played the numbers found inside a fortune cookie and won second prizes in either Powerbal or Mega Millions.

Yeah I got similar cookies many times and nothing. It is always very easy to give credit when it happens, even if it is once out of a million times.

Two Nampa men will split a $600,000 Powerball prize, and they credit a fortune cookie for their good fortune.

John Garcia and Eddie Dietrich bought their winning ticket at the Maverik Store at 2516 W. Karcher Road in Nampa.
