I got my letter yesterday. I won $600 2 years ago. I was shocked. I will do a fraud alert after I look at my credit report. For all I know this employee could have sold it to others.

please tell me you're kidding, right? any employee is NOT allowed to take home personal information about winners or anything regarding the lottery [i don't even think they're allowed to play] back home ... that's the price you pay for working in that establishment .. and that is a total breach of personal property and trust ... i don't know about kenya, but here in america this is a justifiable investigation and hopefully a CHARGE

He had this information on his home computer. There is no reason why an former employee should have personal information of other employees, lottery winners and retailers on their home computers.

I think it's wrong to hold the lottery official-I don't see any problem with a person keeping certain informations in his/her office.But Many people believe that this is wrong-but it has no problem at all.

Authorities are investigating a former employee of the Texas Lottery Commission who illegally had the personal information of some employees, lottery winners and retailers stored on a home computer.

The criminal investigation, which started about three weeks ago, involves the Texas comptroller's office and the Travis County district attorney's office, lottery spokesman Bobby Heith said.
