maybe i read something wrong...Did they said they that it will benefit the horse industry? Why not benefit the homeless...What they dont see is that it tells a lot about a country/state when there is no homeless people in that country/state or those homeless are well taken care off....

but again is just politics...

something i've seen before is that in the USA they care more about animals than they care about humans...

A Wyoming state House of Representatives committee will decide Friday whether a bill to create a state lottery to benefit education and the horse industry will survive.

Kids and horses epitomize the spirit of Wyoming, bill sponsor Rep. Sue Wallis, R-Recluse, told the House Transportation, Highways and Military Affairs Committee on Monday.

Wagering also is an old tradition in ranch country, she added.
