well it looks like my campaign to keep powerball out of my state is a losing matter. i did send messages to all my state representatives but the cast hungry legislators are going to pass it anyway. oh well. it sucks to be me.

If this passes, I am sure we will see more states adding both PB and MM to their line-up.

Powerball starts at $20 million since it moved to Florida,not $15 million.

The Washington state Senate has passed a bill that would let the state join the multi-state Powerball lottery game.

The bill passed on a 35-12 vote Tuesday and now goes to the House for consideration.

Washington state already participates in the Mega Millions multistate lottery game. Currently, 30 other states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands have Powerball.
