On the thread about an 82 year old Washington DC winner of a powerball jackpot, somebody here said something like only old people win I hope this thread of the young California couple will convince him otherwise.

The good man will donate money to the families of the Oakland Policemen who died in March. I like that.

Florida?Where does it say they are going to Florida?

They said they are going to Disneyland.Thats in southern California.Disney World is in Florida.

Good 4 them! Being officers they know how to protect themselves from intruders and the like. I love it when hard working regular folks that truly need it win. We all know that cops make no money and put their lives on the line for us everyday. May God continue to Bless them.

I wonder how many of his former friends as the Sherriff's Department are going to claim they were suppossed to be part of a pool agreement ?? I'm guessing these folks are going to be facing lawsuits when they get back to California. If I were them I would stay in Florida and avoid all the HUGE tax burden of California. Wonder how many of the people he works with are already planning to sue over the ticket.......Bet lawyers have already been contacted!!! Good Luck guys
