			<description><![CDATA[<p>Yes, indeed, the selling retailer does receive their cut (probably already did, since Powerball headquarters knows, after the drawing, exactly where all the winning tickets were sold at) regardless of whether the $400K winning ticket is claimed. I see the clerks handle the machine when it jams up and I don&#x27;t think they cancel all those tickets, they don&#x27;t seem to like doing the job at the lottery machine in the first place. I don&#x27;t go to stores like that anymore, I go to one place to play where they LIKE me, call me by name, take my numbers seriously, gives me my tickets the exact way I have them, sneak in a winner every once in a while for me by doubling my wager on a number, and give me freebies like tickets and... &#x5b;&#xa0;<a href="https://www.lotterypost.com/news/194109/1311131">More</a>&#xa0;&#x5d;</p>]]></description>

Use to be such claims would make the news, people who claimed to have been traveling through that town on the particular day the ticket was sold and decided to buy a lottery ticket at the particular store that sold it but forgot about the it until they read about it in the news and now can&#x27;t find it.</p>]]></description>
