But I also wonder if they're just trying to get in the news (free publicity) to cause a run on the remaining tickets. I don't think they should close a game with a top prize remaining.

Hopefully, someone has the winning ticket or buys it soon so the money doesn't go to waste. (back into the system.

New Hampshire Lottery officials are about to pull a scratch ticket from stores, even though one of the $1 million prizes is still unaccounted for.

Officials said 93 percent of the NH Millionaire's Club scratch tickets have been sold, but one of two $1 million winners hasn't been turned in.
