Since an error was made by Mr. P. and the State of Arkansas, I would think that Mr. Huey, being the good public servant that he is would help his boss and the State out by offering to reduce his salary

to the legal midpoint. This is a chracter issue and it is up to him to show his loyality to Mr. P., the Commission, State of Arkansas, and the People of Arkansas. If he siezed someone's assets in error

Arkansas lottery spokesperson Julie Baldridge claimed Wednesday that Grant County Sheriff Lance Huey was hired at what lottery staff members believed was the midpoint salary grade because a state Web site listed the salary as such.
