Gotta love that east coast mentality: It's all MINE . I have nothing against it (I'm from there) it's just something I've notices. Also I have found the further west you go, the nicer, trusting and more easy going people are, particularly in those big square states in the middle of the country...

guys in Ohio are really into lotto pooling, wow. Such unity is rare from my side of the country.

Infact the state laws here will only recognize one person as the winner and it's up to him or

her to pay the taxes and then distribute the money as they deem fit.

You could be right, if those 24 players were headed to Cleveland to collect the $252M jackpot some of their co-workers might think their intentions of adding a dollar to the pot should count for something. After all some of them had been playing off and on for 15 years.

Congratulations to the pool.

I hope it doesn't take any of my pools this long to win something substantial. At this point I think those in the oldest pool (about 5 years old) would be happy to hit for $100. Patience. I must remember to have patience. I've been playing by myself off and on for 20 years (started in KY) and would be happy to hit for $100. But I know my time is coming..........soon.........really soon.........

If anyone really wanted to know what 24,000 lines would get them they could just run a test and use a RNG to generate that many lines for a file and see what happens. We already know over 77,000,000 combinations were sold for Tuesday night drawing and 25 tickets had 5+0 and none had 5+1.

They should all pitch in a 1,000 of that for Friday! 24,000 tickets? They're sure to win something. Okay so they probably don't have the money yet.... But still it'd be interesting to see what that many tickets would get them.

Lest there be any confusion, David Moyer and Peggy Park want everyone to know morale is now high among employees at Oakleaf Village of Toledo.

Scratch that. Practically everyone, including the retirees, were going bonkers Wednesday after learning that 24 of the 77 employees at the retirement home had just won $250,000 from the Ohio Lottery's Mega Millions game. They hit on five of six numbers with their best ticket.
