I know what the odds are, I am not stupid...I know you have to increase your chances by what ever means...but it is very boring to just have no emotion about playing...that is where I was coming from.

Maybe, just maybe, it has something to do with the odds. The odds don't care if you deserve it, if you need it, or if you're a good person. The odds only care how many chances you have for each game.

I am in poverty...I can't even buy a freakin' ticket at this point.

I am usually happy for people who do win and they need it...but part of me wonders why I couldn't have hit in the past or if I can win in the future...I really need it...things are a mess right now and it just keeps getting worse and none of it was my fault and the people who caused it don't care and the people who can help don't care...it makes me wonder why???

I don't like to be of a suspicious nature but I always wonder what the lawyer's cut is on these deals with relatively unsophisticated people suddenly loaded with cash. I wonder if there are any legal guidelines or is it just take what you can get? My experience with lawyers shows that getting the money and a lot of it is always job one.

The Orlando doctor that won 196 in PB a few months back also had a qp multiple line ticket with the winning combo all the way at the bottom. His was $10, though. Interesting.

Winning couple, on the brink of poverty, will be identified later this week

The winners of the $162 million Mega Millions jackpot have been identified and will meet the public in a news conference later this week, lottery officials said Monday.

The ticket was handed in by the winners, who were accompanied by their attorney, at a New York Lottery office in upstate Fishkill about 11:30 a.m., lottery spokeswoman Jennifer Givner said. Officials have validated the ticket, she said.
