I'd love it if Michigan would do the same. The local channel is supposed to broadcast the drawing from Detroit, midday and evening. In the past 30 days they have replaced the drawing with paid commericials at least 60% of the time. It is frustrating to be waiting for the drawing and have to sit through Shamwow commercials, and realize there will be no drawing broadcast that night. I end up going to the internet anyway.

I was just discussing this article with my husband. He immediately said, Va lottery is going to save alot of money. I said I wish Maryland would do the same thing but I sure MDSL has signed a contract with WBAL for a number of years. What a rip off. WBAL doesn't air the numbers on Saturday mornings and Saturday nights the time of the airing is posted as 8:27pm or between 8:27-8:30. I watched for the drawing last night and it didn't air at all.
