I haven't seen any such statistic about book sales declining. In fact, with big sites like Amazon.com selling so many books, it is my understanding that book sales have never been higher. Don't you buy books

For the same reason books are selling more than ever: many people prefer the printed page over a computer screen. When your computer is out or when a web site is not available, or when your hard drive crashes, or when you accidentally delete a file, what then? It pays to have an archival reference of each year's results for many reasons.
