I don't know about the State of New York but Georgia and South Carolina Lotteries have a site on their website which shows the number f remaining top prizes not claimed. I like to use this info to buy scratch tickets.

Wow thats a blessing to scatch a $5 ticket and win 1 Million dollars . Congrads to her.

Does anyone know how many $1 Millon dollar top prizes are remaining for the Smooth 7s instant game in New York? (I'm guessing maybe one or two.)

Usually there are only about 4 top prizes in each state for a scratch off like this one, So I've always thought I would have a low chance of winning the top prize in a scratchoff game when I buy them.

$33,015 a year.

Man, there ain't much left of a million after the government takes what we owe them right off the top.

I'm sure they invest it wisely though. I'm pretty sure they do. Surely they know what's best for our money. They would never squander it. They're probably real good at handling money. I have a lot of faith in them. They've probably got it in a lockbox somewhere piling up interest.

Winner calls Smooth 7s game very sweet

Western New York's newest millionaire thought she had made a mistake when she scratched off the winning space on the state Lottery's new Smooth 7s instant game.

I thought I must have scratched something wrong, Debra Mauro said Thursday as an oversized symbolic check for $1 million was presented to her by Lottery emcee Gretchen Dizer.
