Yeah I am pissed and sent them an email as if it will matter. I like the Super 7 A LOT more than the powerball or mega millions game, which doesn't pay crap out and hasn't for 10 years. At least I won like $30 with the Super 7 a few times. I rarely play PB or MM because I have not gotten more than $8 usually yet. I also enjoyed lucky for life, and match 6 was OK. I actually can't stand PB or MM due to the constant losses. So I guess PA Lottery will be saving me a lot of money playing jackpots ga... [ More ]

Side Note - MATCH 6 and Multi-Match: those tickets are/were 1 line you pick 6 numbers or QP, the 2nd and 3rd line are FORCED QP, and there is often the case where many of the tickets are UNABLE to win some of the prize levels other than Jackpot. i.e. to match 10 numbers when only 6 are drawn, some of the QP would have to be duplicate and the QP doesn't account for that.

They change games in PA more often than I change radio stations to avoid annoying GEICO ads! Every few years their local Lotto type game is dropped and some other one added which is just a re-hash of the previous. They have been through Keystone Lotto, Match 6, Super 6, Super 7, Lucky For Life, and whatever else. There are too many game icons (that's ok) jammed onto my screen of my picking program so I can drop the 7 and push in the Mega. I wonder what new game they bring in Keystone Super Match... [ More ]

This game lacked intelligence, wit, and appeal because it was not a true keno game ala the ones New York Michigan have, which as I have stated here for several years, would be a smash in Pennsylvania.

Players rejected it by not playing it, pure and simple. There was nothing super about it-- the fact of the cancellation speaks for itself.

Maybe they will roll out a 10/20/60 game; now that would be interesting and profit generating!

So what, they're just going to get rid of it? No replacement? They surely can't be losing money on Super 7. Do they honestly expect to make more money by just getting rid of game with nothing taking it's place? From a standpoint of revenue, this is dumb move.

Drhymes- Correct on the stats and pay per play lines. THe difference. PA PAYS more cashola on the jackpot for super 7 and its other tiers. It starts at a much higher level then MD's Match6. Not begrudging the game, just emphasizing the difference in funds for cash.

I do wonder as well if the Tier downwards payout will be an incintive for a last hoorah. I personally liked the game over the Quinto...but its a matter of preference....

PA really needs to reconsider the Treasure hunt game... [ More ]

If no jackpot winner the jackpot money will be rolled to the lower tiered prize winners. Saw this in the local paper last night.

If Pa lottery wanted to keep the game,they could have moved the drawing dates to Mon Thurs, of course that's when they run mix n match.

Md lottery moved their multimatch game from Wed Sat when they added powerball to Mon Thurs. This game (Md' Multi MAtch) has better odds than the Pa Super 7. Pa used to have the match 6 that was just like Md's Multimatch. Plu... [ More ]

When Ohio ended games in the past, if there were no jackpot winners in the last game the jackpot money was divided among the lower prize winners. I played the last games of SuperLotto and Lot'O Play and because there were no jackpot winners the prizes I won were 2-5 times their regular amounts. I wonder if PA will do the same with Super7.

Pennsylvania Lottery officials announced the final drawing for Super 7 will be later this month, but it doesn't seem like players will miss the game.

Officials cite higher jackpots in the Mega Millions drawing as the decision to cancel the Super 7 game. The last chance for Pennsylvania residents to play will be April 27.
