You mean the land of Courtney Love and the tough guys dressed in black who break all the windows in department stores downtown to show how tough they are?

LOL, are you jokin' or smokin'?

Brace yourself, that ain't your daddy's Washington. Sorry, but greasy-headed Grungies singing about dope and whining about the police doesn't exactly conjur up romantic memories of the old wild west for me.

That area was settled by tough men but over the... [ More ]

Took the dirt road over the mountains through Pisgah back into Tennessee. That was kinda fun. Gets a little hairy meeting somebody going the other way on that narrow road though.

I'll tell you one thing about Oregon men you don't know- they can hold their liquior and keep their wives.

You have not lived until you pulled green chain or went over the Columbia River Bar, Ridge.

I think I ll pick up a few tickies for those of you who are not bold enough to venture into the west territory with your Kansas City carpetbags.

I'd like to have me a couple of them raffle tickets but I never travel to blue states unless I have to. They have too many people that look like that guy in the black shirt with the necklace in the picture. I don't usually have too much to talk about with people who look like that.
